Daniel Lopatin AKA Oneohtrix Point Never AKA Chuck Person returned to the public eye a few days ago after his personal Instagram and Warp’s social pages teased new material under the title “Magic”. With no solid confirmation of what this project meant, the teaser left it to the public’s imagination to predict what could be coming.
Magic was the name of the radio station where Oneohtrix Point Never’s name originates from (a mishearing of 106.7.) At the start of OPN’s career, he also released under the alias Magic Oneohtrix Point Never. This name was used for the EP Betrayed in the Octagon. OPN would then go on to further release the EP under a collection called Rifts. In the teaser released on Monday, the sound and aesthetic returned to OPN’s earlier style which left some to assume that it could potentially be a reissue of older material. It was only a few years ago when Garden of Delete was released with the track ECCOJAMC1, a reference to his Eccojam project released in the Person alias.

Now it has been confirmed that Oneohtrix Point Never will be releasing his latest LP Magic on the 30th October. Along with this announcement, OPN releases three tracks as part of the Drive Time Suite single. The track listing for the album appears as such:
- CROSS TALK I
